Bringing Kids Back to School

Every child has the right to access quality education.

The Global Reality

According to the most recent data from UNESCO and UNICEF, more than 250 million children and youth aged 5–17 are currently out of school globally. Countless others attend school irregularly or receive education of such poor quality that they complete their studies without acquiring basic literacy and numeracy skills.

No Shortcuts

Quality education opens pathways out of poverty.

Yet for far too many low-income families, access to good, affordable education remains out of reach. This leads to high dropout rates and leaves thousands of young people without the skills they need to build a better future.

In 2024, Nation Voice Foundation launched its first major education initiative in Musanze, Rwanda, at Umumwe Kizito Primary School. We provided digital access and modern learning resources to support both students and teachers.

After more than three years of working directly on the ground in East Africa, we’ve learned one clear truth: education cannot be improved in isolation. Focusing only on students, teachers, or buildings is not enough.

Real and lasting change requires a holistic approach — one that supports the entire ecosystem of students, parents, teachers, and schools together.

This is the way we work at Nation Voice Foundation. We don’t just support education — we help build stronger, more effective learning systems so every child has a genuine opportunity to learn and thrive.
